Iris

Iris was surrendered from a loving family along with Norman, because the cats did not react very well to a new baby in the family. Iris is an easy going and super-affectionate cat when she is not jealous of someone else being the center of attention. She loves being showered with affection, and will start kneading and pawing at her bed if you simply make eye contact with her. Iris is very easy to handle, and tolerates being picked up and carried around (though it's like lifting a bowling ball with her). She also lets out the cutest, tiniest meow from her gigantic body! Although she is very well adjusted, she is quite timid of loud noise. She is the only cat at the Adoption Office who is still scared of the vacuum cleaner - and we vacuum twice a day! Iris does not get along with other cats, and will attack other cats if caught in a bad mood. She really does make the perfect companion when other cats aren't around, so she will do best in a single cat household.
